days like today just hammer home how i’ll never see you again

i just wanna hang with you in the common, wathcing the froggies and pushing each other in the pond. you pointing out the tree you planted when you were at prmary school then carving our names in it. we sat, arm in arm, holding each other till dark fell and beyond every sunny night. and today the news comes with a treatment has been found by isreali reaserchers. two years too late, i feel so selfish wishing it had been you they could save and hating everyone that will get the treatment., it just doesnt seem fair, i fucking miss you emerald. so so much
